VISION

Community Empowerment for Sustainable Livelihood in Rural Communities

THE MALA MISSION STATEMENT

MALA facilitates community sustainable development with partners through community organization, capacity development, land management and community support programs.

AIMS

The MALA Inc. exists to facilitate sustainable community development process in communities to improve people’s socio-economic livelihoods. Our main aim is to mobilize communities and leadership to organize for development purposes. For sustainability, MALA also intends to provide capacity development and technical support for communities and their leaders who will take the lead and drive the development process forward. MALA will seek to provide onsite support for leaders to effectively carryout their roles and responsibilities. These leaders will then play an important role in self-help development initiatives in their own communities. MALA will later on have a business arm that will ensure its own sustainability in working towards its aims and vision.
